Our Terms
J&L Secretarial Services are available to accept projects from both the UK and abroad, as long as English is used and our payment methods are agreed.
Written quotations will be provided and a signed Booking Form is required before undertaking any project.
PLEASE NOTE: If a client alters their requirements, we reserve the right after suitable consultation to amend the original quotation to reflect the changes.
All invoices will be submitted in UK Sterling and payment must be made within 14 days of receipt of invoice.
Payments can be made via BACS or cheques. Details are provided on the invoice.
PLEASE NOTE: Credit cards are not accepted.
J&L Secretarial Services is not responsible for the end use of any document supplied at the end of the project/contract. Clients are solely responsible for its use, including abiding by copywriting laws and publishing requirements. J&L Secretarial Services will have no responsibility for any plagiarised material supplied by a client and therefore reserves the right to return the work should we become aware of any inappropriate use. J&L Secretarial Services retains the right to reject any work for any client which involves material we find to be illegal, immoral or objectionable.
Should any errors be found in the work, J&L Secretarial Services is liable for the cost of the work only - NO further liability is acknowledged.
PLEASE NOTE: In the current climate of computer viruses, all incoming emails, files, attachments or discs will be scanned.
However, even after scanning, we will still not open UNSOLICITED attachments to emails or emails that contain no message alongside the attachment.
Back up copies of all client files will be kept for ONE year only. After that time, they will be deleted. We advise all clients that original documents should be sent via a traceable method of delivery, either by the post office special delivery or a courier.
